Nayra - A Visual Poem

Nayra’ is inspired from nature. The body of work consisting of four panels, incorporates organic forms, natural materials and realistic depictions to convey the unparalleled beauty of natural world. This custom designed work has been created using timeless technique of ‘Marquetry’ complemented by mother of pearl, hand-carved wooden elements and three-dimensional forms. Owing to the uniqueness of project, all materials applied in the process of making have been hand cut and manually assembled. More than thirty shades of natural as well as stained veneers have been combined to translate this vibrant vision into reality. Overlaying of mother of pearl has brought in an illuminated effect while adding to the textural richness of this work.
